As I mentioned previously in the blog (see The Madness Continues) I am the unfortunate recipient of many dodgy e-mails. Now usually they have no relevance to me what so ever. In fact sometimes they are so irrelevant that it would be funny, if they weren't so disgusting.
However, today someone, from a company I have never heard of in Atlanta, Georgia, sent me an e-mail, and now I am beginning to wonder how anonymous these emailers really are! Like most it pretends to be my best friend, using my first name as only my closest friends would. It is from a weight loss company. Now don't get me wrong I am quite content in myself about the size I am. I have no wish to be skinny and no wish to go on any faddish diet. The problem I have is the title of the mail:-
"Lynne, Lose that fat around your belly."
Who are you? Where are you hiding? What are you trying to tell me?
Am I being watched, hunted, stalked by a dietician? Has someone seen me and realised that my rotund little tummy is in desperate need of assistance?
Now I am feeling very paranoid!
