I've always tried to convince people that the way you speak does matter. It's not about accent, it's about clarity, and being pleasant to listen to. Well this guy proves it:-
A homeless man in the US, Ted Williams, had a video of him on placed on YouTube by a reporter because of his golden voice". The video has attracted more than eight million hits and he has now got work doing voiceovers. He used to have a radio career, but began drinking and using drugs in the 1990s and lost interest in it, before ending up on the streets and becoming estranged from his family and children. Now he's been given a second chance. I wish him all the best, he does have an amazing voice:-
