Perfect for Halloween. This book is one of the first "horror" books ever written. It's set in Europe in the 1790's and begins with the letters of Captain Robert Walton to his sister, and they tell the story of Victor Frankenstein and his monster, a monster who seeks the acceptance from society in light of his ghastly appearance and it raises the question of who the real monster is.
