English In Use - 'Sleeping Dormouse Is A Snore-Fire Hit'

You can't beat a cuddly animal story - nor the tabloid newspaper headline accompanying it. The Sun's headline on a story that footage of a snoring dormouse in the hands of staff at a wildlife centre in Surrey had become an Internet hit drew the headline : 'Sleeping Dormouse Is A Snore-Fire Hit', changing 'sure-fire' (something which is bound to be a success) to 'snore-fire'.
