English In Use - 'Crystal Methodist'

A selection of headlines from stories in the news. They use English in a way that you might think is intended to confuse but it's all perfectly clear to the native speaker.

'Crystal Methodist' isn't a new religion but the Daily Express headline on a story that the former chairman of the Co-op Bank and methodist minister Paul Flowers has allegedly been charged with possessing class A and C drugs. The headline is a play on the name of the drug Crystal Meth, replacing "Meth" with "Methodist".
