WHEN motorist Kenneth Lambourn got upset with a traffic warden, he found an unusual way of making his point, says the Daily Star.
Kenneth claimed that he had paid £1.50 for a ticket but it had blown off the dashboard when he opened his door, prompting the traffic warden to issue him with a £25 fine.

RESIDENTS of Macmillan Close in Hereford came under siege – from starlings.
The Daily Star reports that thousands of the birds blitzed the neighbourhood with their droppings before roosting in nearby trees.
One resident, Steve Payne, said: “The street and pavements are covered in bird muck, which is a safety hazard if people slip on it. You can’t put washing out and we are having to clean our cars every day.”

APPARENTLY 9.11pm is the time that the typical Briton slips into their pyjamas.
The Daily Express says that a study by Premier Inn also revealed that one in 10 of us admits donning pyjamas immediately after arriving home from office or factory and that nearly a quarter have spent the entire weekend in them on more than one occasion.

BRITAIN has been suffering a winter deluge of rain, so spare a thought for Rachel Prince, a 26 year old from Ripley in Derbyshire who is, says the Daily Express, allergic to water.
It would seem that even a single raindrop will bring Rachel out in a painful red rash so with the UK experiencing its wettest winter in 200 years, things have been especially difficult and she has been largely housebound.
