A bit more information about the Oak tree.  A very British symbol (not to be confused with the Conservative party logo).

More than 500 schools in England are going to focus on the subject of Britishness as part of a government initiative. Called "Who Do We Think We Are?", pupils will look at identity, history, faith and community for a whole week! (I think it might take a bit longer than that guys.)
