A bit of a shock for some of you I know. But the image of a traditional British pub with pints of beer and a roaring log fire has been replaced with images of under-age alcopop drinkers and roaring thugs.
I have to add a footnote to the lesson to say that there are still some lovely traditional pubs in the UK. Full of nice people, enjoying a pint of traditional ale and a game of darts. You just have to know where to go.
