‘An Inspectre Calls’ is a headline from the Mirror newspaper about police in Wales spent £20,000 on a murder probe after psychics said the ghost of a man found hanged told them he was killed by gangsters.

The headline makes use of a famous play “An inspector calls” replacing inspector with “inspectre”.  Spectre is another word for ghost.
