The Daily Mirror uses the headline ‘Tummy Guns’ on a report that more British women soldiers – 35 since 2007 – became pregnant in Iraq than in any other war zone, despite the Army’s sex ban for troops. The headline is a play on ‘tommy gun’ which means submachine gun.
