The Daily Mirror plumped for a cinematic reference for the headline on their story that millions of men with sex problems are suffering in silence, too ashamed or embarrassed to seek help. More than a third experience erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation, according to a survey for high street chemists Boots.

The Mirror used the headline ‘The Silence of the Rams’, a play on the 1991 film The Silence of the Lambs starring Anthony Hopkins (ram being a male sheep).
