This month’s photo is from me. It’s called “Tall Building” and was taken on a recent trip to Frankfurt in Germany. It’s a photo of an office tower.
The caption on the photo reads, “This is a pretty tall building, but it’s nowhere near the tallest building in the world.
In fact the world’s tallest structure is now the 828 m (2,717 ft) tall Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. The building gained the official title of “Tallest Building in the World” at its opening on 4 January 2010. It is taller than any other man-made structure ever built.
We use the adjective “tall” to describe buildings.”
