A troupe of thirsty morris dancers were barred from a pub in England because the jingling bells on their clogs breached a ban on music in the inn.
Fifteen morris dancers walked into the Swan & Three Cygnets in historic Durham city, after entertaining shoppers and tourists for an hour in sweltering sunshine, but when a pub worker saw some of the performers were wearing clogs bearing clusters of bells, the dancers were given their marching orders as the pub does not allow music.
