English In Use - 'Prince Of Gales'

A selection of headlines from stories in the news. They use English in a way that you might think is intended to confuse but it's all perfectly clear to the native speaker.

Prince Charles' correct title is Charles, Prince of Wales, so it was no surprise to see the Daily Star's headline of 'Prince Of Gales' on a story that during a visit to the studios of BBC Glasgow the Prince had a go at doing the weather forecast.

See below for the whole embarrassing incident.  Still at least he has a back up career plan.
