I've been writing books, short stories and poems ever since I could hold a pen (my colouring books were filled with stories and sentences as opposed to actual colours). I eventually decided against a career in writing and studied to become a social worker but I kept up the writing (and got rid of the colouring books). I'm currently writing my first novel and I figured what better way to publicise and motivate myself than by blogging? 🙂 So by day I'm a mild mannered social worker; by night I'm a frustrated, honest and (sometimes) witty writer.
