English Learning Tip # 19

Be selective

There are so many places offering online help out there it can be a bit overwhelming. When you first start looking for help try searching on Google to see if someone has already written about your favourite topic or asked that burning question.

If you are using group chats, Facebook pages, or forums, look at what their response time is like, the general quality of their responses, and when they were last active.

Once you find sites, groups, or forums that you like, bookmark them, and use their search engine to see if your question or the answer you are looking for has already been posted.

You can always post your question on multiples sites, and see which answer is the most helpful.
