A snowplough isn't just a snowplough any more.
... and you would be correct, but the word snowplough is now being used to describe parents who will do anything to clear the way for their children, as this video illustrates.
Note - snowplow = NAmE spelling. BrE is spelt snowplough, but pronounced the same.
