Use Every Learning Opportunity

When I first started the Learn English Network in 1999, there wasn’t that much help for English learners out there, never mind free help.  The good news is that nowadays there is an abundance of help, but it is still up to you to take advantage of these opportunities.

From reading books, magazines, cartoons, listening to the radio, podcasts, audio books, music, to watching films, videos, playing games, even simply looking at photographs. It is all there, on YouTube, Spreaker, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram, and a myriad of other websites.

Have an English learning plan, with a different challenge for  each day of the week.  Keep a note of the things you enjoy, and those you don`t.

Try not to do just one thing.  Mix it up a bit and keep your brain on its toes.
