And now, says the Daily Mail, a scientist claims the found the formula for the perfect stick.

ACCORDING to the Daily Star, Britain is facing an invasion of 'an army of crazed ginger ants'.

It seems that pest experts have issued a warning over two species of Argentinian ants which are covered in red hair, love to chew wires, and can spread disease.

Expert David Cross is quoted as saying: “Most arrive here via container ships from different parts of the world, either in food or perhaps soft furnishings.”

THE Guardian tells us that a London Underground 'zombie' poster ad is to be replaced.

The ad was for The Generation of Z Apocalypse, an event where “soldiers” help the audience to survive a zombie experience.

It used an image of zombie head with sunken eyes and blood stained teeth but the Advertising Standards Authority received complaints that the poster ads were unsuitable to run in the underground as they could be seen by children.

NICE story with a happy ending in the Daily Telegraph about a dog which was stolen by burglars and has now been reunited with its owners after seven years!

Molly, a 10 year old Jack Russell, was picked up by Warwickshire police 200 miles away from owners Brian and Pauline Berry in Houghton-le-Spring, County Durham.

THE BBC reported on an unusual reason for a football match to be delayed – bees swarming around the goalposts.

Oldham Athletic were getting ready to start their pre-season friendly match against Blackburn Rovers when a queen bee attached herself to one of the posts, which led to the penalty area becoming a hive of activity.
