Linda's Bees is a blog written by an American apiarist (beekeeper), a lady who lives in Atlanta.  She keeps several hives on the deck behind her house and in community gardens and her blog is a fascinating look at the ups and downs of beekeeping.

Cooking for Engineers is a collection of "tried and tested" recipes and reviews.  The "Engineer" bit is what intrigued me, but to be honest it's cooking for almost everyone.  The nice thing about it is the step by step photos, which mean you really can't go wrong. (Or can you?)
