WHOOPS! The Daily Telegraph has put the spotlight on a competition run by the Times Higher Education magazine in which university dons nominated 'howlers' made by students.
A University of Gloucestershire student’s claimed that “Sex has puzzled biologists ever since it was discovered by Darwin and Mendel” and a science student wrote in his exam that “Ebola could lead to death”, before adding “in some cases fatal”.

THE BBC says Andy Murray's Wimbledon tennis victory drew the highest TV ratings of the year so far with a peak audience of 17.3 million viewers tuning in to watch him beat Novak Djokovic - the highest audience for a Wimbledon final since at least 1990.
Viewing peaked at 5.30pm as Murray closed in on Djokovic, representing a 79.6% share of the total TV audience during the same period.

The Sun reported the amusing tale of England player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain playfully ticking off his father who had fallen asleep in front of the TV and missed his son scoring a wonder goal in the 2-2 draw against Brazil in Rio de Janeiro.
