HERE’S a surprising statistic found in the Daily Mirror who report that nearly a quarter of British adults have never been on a plane!

Research by travel search engine KAYAK.co.uk also revealed that a fifth of those surveyed say they have never visited a beach in their life, a quarter have never visited a European capital city and 41 per cent say they’ve never tried foreign food.

And one in 10 Brits have stayed in the UK their entire life and never once been abroad.

AS someone who remembers when they were the only option available, it is interesting to read a Daily Mail article which says that that vinyl records are enjoying a revival.

Apparently, last year saw more than one million albums sold on vinyl for the first time in almost two decades, after seven years of steady growth, and sales are expected to hit two million this year.

IF you love surfing the net don’t go and live in Erw Fawr, Henryd, Wales or Weatley Road in Stanford-Le-Hope, in Essex.

The Mirror says that both streets have come out top in a survey of the slowest broadband in the UK. They have average download speeds of just 0.6 megabytes per second, 30 times slower than the national average.

LIZZY, a seven year old Corgi dog has been sacked from a West End play for refusing to obey the Queen!

The Daily Telegraph reports that the dog was appearing in the play The Audience in which Helen Mirren plays the Queen.
