Running for the Hills

by Horatio Clare

This is a memoir of a former barman and BBC radio producer. He narrates how his parents, decide to leave a successful life in London and end up owning a sheep farm in Wales.  His father soon becomes disillusioned and returns to his London life, but his mother Jenny, “the mad romantic,” stays behind on the remote mountaintop sheep farm. The book is funny and touching; a memoir of a strange childhood.
